Content Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Location: Remote

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed


Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Departmental Support

  • Perform various administrative tasks, including managing expense reports, tracking departmental spending, maintaining contact lists, and handling correspondence.
  • Manage contract administration, organize, and maintain the Affiliate Sales and Marketing shared drive.
  • Work with Finance to review monthly remittance reports.
  • Provide general departmental support as required.

Creative & Marketing Coordination

  • Write creative briefs for the development of static and video assets for digital platforms and BDU partners.
  • Oversee the creative process, ensuring assets are delivered on time and meet marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Programming, Creative/Design) to manage feedback cycles and ensure alignment.
  • Maintain marketing and sales reporting dashboards.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, scheduling, and tracking performance.

Sales & Customer Support

  • Assist in planning and executing account plans, client presentations, and sales training sessions.
  • Coordinate client meetings, events, and logistics, including sourcing materials, premiums, and managing budgets.
  • Field ad hoc marketing, sales, and customer support requests, ensuring smooth communication with BDU partners.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide troubleshooting assistance to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a Coordinator or Administrative Assistant role, preferably in Sales/Marketing or Television industry

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Sales or Marketing preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience in email marketing and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.

Additional Qualifications

Project Management:

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong team player with high emotional intelligence, fostering effective collaboration.

Adaptability:

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Marketing & Sales Experience:

  • 2+ years of related experience and a strong understanding of marketing and sales strategies.

Customer Support:

  • Experience in handling customer inquiries and delivering high-quality support.
